First Tractor Trek

1st Annual Mid-Dakota Tractor Trek
On Saturday, July 17, 30 tractors took part in the 1st Annual Mid-Dakota Tractor Trek. They gathered at Doug's Auto Body in Martin for a free breakfast before the 9 mile trek on Highway 52 to Harvey.
Lawrence Bartz, Anamoose, was asked by the Harvey Chamber of Commerce to organize the tractor trek. The group joined up with the Harvey parade at 10am.
Lowell Dusek was in charge of serving the free breakfast of pancakes, sausage & scrambled eggs. LJ Dusek & Jeff Lemer, all from Anamoose, were in charge of flipping the pancakes.
Eugene Pillatzke pulled an old school bus behind his tractor.
There were 36 sponsors for the event. From Anamoose the sponsors were; Pete's Tractor Salvage, Stan Martin Agency, Heringer Lumber, Buechler Oil of Harvey, Martin, Anamoose, & 1st State Bank of Harvey & Anamoose.
